ACER Review of Years 9-12 education in Tasmania

Read the first set of issues papers that were released for the ACER Review of Years 9 to 12 in Tasmania. They examine current general topics about Australian education and specific topics about secondary education in Tasmania. Thus, they can inform the the work of NEAT’s member associations in Tasmania.

During the Review, ACER intends to develop brief summaries of issues as they develop from discussions, consultations and submissions.

NEAT a stakeholder in Tasmania’s Curriculum Framework Advisory Group

A new Communique from the Curriculum Framework Advisory Group meeting of 26 July 2016 has been uploaded to the Tasmanian Dept of Education’s  Years 11 and 12 website.  It will be part of the documentation provided to ACER being the consultants undertaking the Years 9 – 12 Review recently announced in the 2016 – 2017 Tasmanian Budget.

The Network of Educational Associations of Tasmania (NEAT) is a stakeholder in the CFAG broad membership base across the education sector. The purpose of the CFAG is to provide strategic advice to the Secretary and Minister for Education in relation to the development or revision of the curriculum for senior secondary education across Tasmania.
